Dr. Ogbolu, Lucky Mmamefune, is an accomplished academic and accounting professional with extensive experience in university teaching, administration, research, and professional practice. His academic career began in 2006 when he joined the services of Novena University, Ogume, Delta State, Nigeria. During his tenure at the University, he served as the pioneer Head of the Department of Accounting, contributing significantly to the establishment and development of the Department. In 2023, Dr. Ogbolu transferred his services to Southern Delta University, Ozoro, Delta State, Nigeria, where he currently serves as the Head of the Department of Accounting, a position he has held since the 2023/2024 academic session. His academic leadership experience reflects a sustained commitment to departmental development, academic excellence, quality assurance, and the advancement of accounting education. Dr. Ogbolu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Accounting from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, awarded in 2022. He obtained his Master's degree from Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, Nigeria, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria, in 2003. Professionally, Dr. Ogbolu is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). His professional and academic background has equipped him with expertise in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Strategic Financial Management. Beyond his teaching and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Ogbolu has actively participated in university governance and committee assignments. He has served on various university and departmental committees, including the Students' Union Government (SUG) Electoral Committee and the Departmental Quality Assurance Committee, at both Novena University and Southern Delta University. With nearly two decades of experience in academia, Dr. Ogbolu combines academic scholarship, professional competence, administrative leadership, and practical expertise in his contributions to the development of accounting education and the broader academic community.
