Dr. Ukolobi, Omohefe Israel

Profile

Dr. Ukolobi, O. Israel (FCA), has been in the academic environment since 2004. He started his academic journey with the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, in 2004, where he rose to the position of Head of Department (Accounting). He transferred his services to the defunct Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, in 2013. He was the acting dean of the School of Business Studies and director of the Evening Programme (Regular II). When the Polytechnic was upgraded to a university, he was absorbed into the university in 2021. Dr. Ukolobi is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, in 1988. He obtained his Master of Science degree (M. Sc) in Accountancy in 2017 and Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph. D) in Accountancy in 2025, all from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. He has published many articles in reputable journals both locally and internationally.
