Engr. Tachere Otaghogho Zion is a Civil Engineer who hails from Egini in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He graduated from Auchi Polytechnic and worked with P.W. Nigeria Ltd and other and other construction firms over six years particularly on highway projects, before joining the defunct Delta State Polytechnic in 2006, now Southern Delta University, Ozoro. Driven by a passion for knowledge acquisition and impartation, he furthered his education and obtained a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), followed by postgraduate degrees in Civil Engineering, specializing in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, culminating in a Doctorate Degree from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli, Anambra State. He is a registered Engineer with the COREN and his experience has positioned him to making meaningful contributions to engineering education, research, and sustainable development.
