Dr. Ogbodo, Uyoyou Kingsley, is an academic, chartered accountant, chartered tax practitioner, and cost analyst with a strong background in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and management accounting. He currently serves as a Lecturer II in the Department of Taxation, Faculty of Administration and Management Sciences, Southern Delta University, Ozoro, Delta State, Nigeria. Dr. Ogbodo obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting from Delta State University, Abraka. In furtherance of his academic career, he proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he earned both a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Accounting and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Accounting. His academic training has equipped him with substantial knowledge and research competence in accounting, taxation, corporate reporting, auditing, and related areas of financial management. In addition to his academic qualifications, Dr. Ogbodo holds professional memberships in three recognized professional bodies. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and an Associate Member of the Association of Cost Analysts of Nigeria (ACAN). These professional qualifications complement his academic background and demonstrate his commitment to professional development and the advancement of accounting and taxation practice. As a university lecturer, Dr. Ogbodo is actively involved in teaching, research, student supervision, and other academic and administrative responsibilities. His scholarly interests span taxation, sustainability accounting and reporting, corporate reporting, management accounting, auditing and investigation, and contemporary issues in accounting and finance. His research orientation reflects an interest in applying accounting and taxation knowledge to contemporary economic, corporate, and public-sector challenges, particularly within the Nigerian environment. Dr. Ogbodo combines academic scholarship with professional accounting and taxation expertise. Through teaching, research, professional engagement, and mentorship of students, he continues to contribute to the development of accounting and taxation education and to the broader objectives of Southern Delta University, Ozoro.
